Bhumi Pednekar once again showcased her bold fashion sensibilities by stepping out in an elegant and contemporary outfit crafted from traditional Banarasi Jamawar fabric. The actor embraced androgynous dressing with a striking ensemble designed by renowned Pakistani designer Hussain Rehar, proving that heritage textiles can be reimagined in modern silhouettes.
The outfit, named Aks, is part of Rehar’s latest bridal collection, Nargis, and highlights exceptional craftsmanship and tailoring. At the centre of the look was a full-sleeved button-down coat made from handwoven Banarasi Jamawar fabric. The rich textile featured intricate paisley and floral motifs woven across its surface in earthy shades of green and rust, creating a luxurious visual appeal.
Adding structure to the design, the coat featured carefully tailored princess seams that enhanced the silhouette while maintaining a refined and sophisticated appearance. The jacket was paired with voluminous harem pants that balanced comfort and elegance. The trousers tapered neatly at the ankles and were finished with detailed mukesh and resham embroidery along the borders, further elevating the ensemble.
The look reflected Hussain Rehar’s commitment to celebrating South Asian craftsmanship. The designer has recently gained international attention after presenting his pret collection, Jeevan, at Paris Fashion Week, bringing regional artistry to a global audience.
Styled by Nidhi Jeswani, Bhumi accessorised the outfit with statement earrings from Tribe Amrapali and elegant high heels from Aquazzura. Her beauty look featured glowing bronzed skin, metallic eye makeup and softly defined features. Completing the polished appearance, her hair was styled in a sleek bun with a side part, allowing the outfit’s intricate details to remain the focal point of the ensemble.
