Anshula Kapoor has given fashion enthusiasts a glimpse of the grandeur expected at her upcoming wedding celebrations with a stunning pre-wedding look that combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary elegance. The bride-to-be recently appeared at a pre-wedding prayer ceremony alongside fiancé Rohan Thakkar, wearing a bespoke ensemble from luxury fashion label Itrh, founded by designer Ridhi Bansal and celebrity stylist Mohit Rai.
The elaborate outfit featured a richly crafted lehenga made from Banarasi silk tissue brocade, adorned with intricate embellishments including polki stones and traditional ghungroos. The skirt was further enhanced with meticulous handwork using aari mirror embroidery and classic zardozi techniques, creating a regal appearance that reflected the richness of Indian bridal couture.
Complementing the lehenga was a striking high-neck blouse that stood out as a statement piece. Embellished with matching polki detailing, pearls, and ghungroos, the blouse showcased detailed craftsmanship using antique gold-finished threads. Traditional techniques such as dabka, badla, and gota work were employed to create ornate motifs, lending the ensemble a luxurious and timeless appeal.
Adding further depth to the look, Anshula paired the outfit with two distinctive dupattas. One was a metallic tissue dupatta featuring intricate hand embroidery, while the other was a vibrant phulkari dupatta decorated with densely embroidered floral patterns in jewel tones, a cherished element of Punjabi bridal tradition.
According to the designers, artisans at the Itrh atelier dedicated nearly 1,600 hours to creating the ensemble. Every detail was carefully executed to bring the bride-to-be’s vision to life, resulting in a breathtaking look that has already generated excitement among fashion lovers and wedding-watchers alike.
