Global superstar Priyanka Chopra Jonas once again captured worldwide attention as she attended the prestigious Gold Gala 2026, where she received the coveted Global Vanguard Honor. The award recognises influential personalities who are shaping global culture, representation and cross-cultural storytelling.

For the landmark occasion, Priyanka paid tribute to Indian craftsmanship through a stunning couture creation designed by celebrated fashion designer Amit Aggarwal in collaboration with celebrity stylist Ami Patel. The outfit was crafted from a two-decade-old Chikankari sari, transformed into a modern sculptural gown that blended heritage embroidery with contemporary fashion.
The intricate ensemble reportedly took six weeks to complete, with women artisans hand-embroidering the fabric in fine detail. Amit Aggarwal further elevated the design with his signature architectural patterns, layered structures and glass bead embellishments. Priyanka completed the elegant look with luxurious jewellery from Bvlgari.
Held at The Music Center in Los Angeles under the theme “A New Gold World,” the Gold Gala 2026 celebrated leadership, diversity and cultural influence. Priyanka joined a distinguished list of honourees including Charles Melton, Jet Li, Simu Liu and EJAE.
With yet another defining fashion and cultural moment, Priyanka Chopra Jonas reinforced her position as one of the few Indian stars continuing to shape global entertainment, representation and modern cultural identity on an international platform.
