Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has reportedly strengthened her presence in the business world by investing in Agilitas Sports, a fast-growing Indian sportswear company founded by former Puma India executives. The move marks another significant step in her entrepreneurial journey and further deepens her association with the sports and wellness industry.
According to reports, Anushka has acquired a minority stake in the company, joining her husband, cricket star Virat Kohli, who is already associated with the venture. Beyond her financial investment, the actress is expected to take an active role in developing a dedicated yoga-wear line under the popular One8 brand, which has become a recognizable name in India’s sportswear market.
Agilitas Sports CEO Abhishek Ganguly confirmed Anushka’s involvement, stating that she would contribute both as an investor and as a partner in building the company’s yoga and wellness apparel segment. While details of the deal remain undisclosed, industry observers view the collaboration as a strategic move aimed at expanding the brand’s footprint in the growing activewear and fitness market.
Anushka’s latest business venture comes at a time when she continues to stay away from the silver screen. The actress has maintained a low profile in the film industry since her last theatrical release, focusing instead on family life, brand partnerships, and entrepreneurial projects.
Reports also suggest that Anushka and Virat Kohli spend much of their time in London with their children, while frequently visiting India for personal and professional commitments. With this new investment, Anushka appears set to play a larger role in India’s booming wellness and lifestyle sector.
