The special screening of the upcoming crime thriller series Brown turned into a heartwarming family celebration as Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan came together to support Karisma Kapoor ahead of the show’s release. The neo-noir thriller marks Karisma’s return to a leading role and has already generated significant buzz among audiences.
Directed by Abhinay Deo, Brown features Karisma as Rita Brown, a troubled detective investigating a series of murders while struggling with personal challenges and emotional scars from her past. The dark and intense storyline has attracted attention for its unique premise and Karisma’s dramatic transformation.
Speaking at the screening, Saif Ali Khan praised the project and revealed that he had closely observed Karisma’s preparation for the demanding role. He said he was impressed by the trailer and the way the series had been shot, adding that he was excited to see Karisma portray a character so different from her real-life personality.
Kareena Kapoor Khan also expressed her admiration for her sister’s fearless approach to acting. Calling Karisma the “absolute ’90s queen,” Kareena highlighted how the actress has consistently taken risks throughout her career.
