Legendary Bollywood playback icon Kumar Sanu and global pop performer Shannon K are gearing up for a grand live symphony orchestra concert at Royal Albert Hall on May 25, 2026. Organised by Rock On Music, the event is expected to deliver a unique bilingual musical experience, combining evergreen Bollywood melodies with contemporary international pop music.
The London show comes after the successful Unforgettable ’90s LIVE USA and Canada Tour 2025–26, where Shannon K performed alongside Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Sargam across several North American cities, including New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Dallas, San Francisco, and Washington DC. Audiences praised the concerts for blending nostalgic Hindi chartbusters with modern English-pop influences, creating a multi-generational musical celebration.
Sharing her excitement, Shannon K described performing with her father Kumar Sanu as an emotional and inspiring experience. She said the upcoming Royal Albert Hall concert will carry the same energetic cross-cultural vibe, elevated further by a live symphony orchestra.
Kumar Sanu also appreciated Shannon’s modern reinterpretation of iconic’90s Bollywood songs, noting that younger listeners connected strongly with her unique performance style during the international tour.
Beyond music, Shannon K has been steadily building her presence in films and playback singing with projects such as Chal Zindagi, Badass Ravi Kumar, Tanvi The Great, and the web series Salakaar. In 2025, she also created history by becoming the first independent Indian-origin singer-songwriter to perform at Coachella.
